【摘要】:Gaugecalibrationisconductedforthefollowingpurposes:5.1.1Toensuregaugemeasurementrepeatabilitybetweengauges5.1.2Tocorrectforelectronicandmechanicalchangesovertime5.1.3ToadjustreadingsaftermajorservicetothegaugeToestablishapropercalibrationareaforgaugesToreducethechanceofimpropercalibrationNote18212;Thequalityoftheresultsproducedbythisstandardisdependentonthecompetenceofthepersonnelperformingit,andthesuitabilityoftheequipmentandfacilitiesused.AgenciesthatmeetthecriteriaofpracticeD3740aregenerallyconsideredcapableofcompetentandobjectivetesting/inspection/etc.UsersofthisstandardarecautionedthatcompliancewithpracticeD3740doesnotinitselfassureameansofevaluatingsomeofthosefactors.1.1Thisguideoutlinesproceduresforsetupofnuclearmoisturedensitygaugeinshielded,MethodA,andunshielded,MethodB,configurations.1.2Thisguidedoesnotattempttodescribethecalibrationtechniquesormethods.Itisassumedthatthisguidewillbeusedbypersonsfamiliarwiththeoperationsofthegaugeandinperformingpropercalibration,serviceandmaintenance.1.3Thisguidedoesnotattempttoaddressmaintenanceorserviceproceduresrelatedtothegauge.Thisguidedoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisguidetoestablishappropriatesafety,andhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4Thisguideoffersanorganizedcollectionofinformationoraseriesofoptionsanddoesnotrecommendaspecificcourseofaction.Thisdocumentcannotreplaceeducationorexperienceandshouldbeusedinconjunctionwithprofessionaljudgment.Notallaspectsofthisguidemaybeapplicableinallcircumstances.ThisASTMstandardisnotintendedtorepresentorreplacethestandardofcarebywhichtheadequacyofagivenprofessionalservicemustbejudged,norshouldthisdocumentbeappliedwithoutconsiderationofaprojectsmanyuniqueaspects.Theword"Standard"inthetitleofthisdocumenthasbeenapprovedthroughASTMconsensusprocess.1.5AllobservedandcalculatedvaluesshallconformtotheguidelinesforsignificantdigitsandroundingestablishedinpracticeD6026.1.5.1Themethodusedtospecifyhowdataarecollected,calculated,orrecordedinthisstandardisnotdirectlyrelatedtotheaccuracytowhichthedatacanbeappliedinthedesignorotheruses,orboth.Howoneappliestheresultsobtainedusingthisstandardisbeyonditsscope.
