【摘要】:Thesignificanceofspecifictestsisdiscussedintheappropriatesections.Thesetestmethodsareconsideredsatisfactoryforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsbecausethetestmethodshavebeenusedextensivelyinthetradeforthispurpose,andbecausecurrentestimatesofbetween-laboratoryprecisionareacceptableinmostcases.IncaseofadisputearisingfromdifferencesinreportedtestresultswhenusingTestMethodsD2060foracceptancetestingofcommercialshipments,thepurchaserandthesuppliershouldconductcomparativeteststodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweentheirlaboratories.Competentstatisticalassistanceisrecommendedfortheinvestigationofbias.Asaminimum,thetwopartiesshouldtakeagroupoftestspecimensthatareashomogeneousaspossibleandthatarefromalotofmaterialofthetypeinquestion.Thetestspecimensshouldthenberandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.TheaverageresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingStudent''st-testforunpaireddataandanacceptableprobabilitylevelchosenbythetwopartiesbeforethetestingisbegun.Ifabiasiffound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrectedorthepurchaserandthesuppliermustagreetointerpretfuturetestresultsinthelightoftheknownbias.Thetestmethod(s)inthesetestmethods,alongwiththoseinTestMethodsD2051,D2052,D2053,D2054,D2057,D2058,D2059,D2061,andD2062,areacollectionofproventestmethods.Theycanbeusedasaidsintheevaluationofzipperswithouttheneedforathoroughknowledgeofzippers.Theenumeratedtestmethodsdonotprovidefortheevaluationofallzipperproperties.Besidesthosepropertiesmeasuredbymeansoftheenumeratedtestmethodsthereareotherpropertiesthatmaybeimportantforthesatisfactoryperformanceofazipper.Testmethodsformeasuringthosepropertieshavenotbeenpublishedeitherbecausenopracticalmethodshaveyetbeendevelopedorbecauseavalidevaluationoftheinformationresultingfromexistingunpublishedmethodsrequiresanintimateandthoroughknowledgeofzippers.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthemeasurementofthedimensionsofalltypesandsizesofzippers.1.2Thetestmethodsappearasfollows:
