【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstotallyreactiveepoxyresinssuppliedasliquidsorsolidswhichcanbeusedforcastings,coatings,tooling,potting,adhesives,orreinforcedapplications.Theadditionofhardenersintheproperproportionscausestheseresinstopolymerizeintoinfusibleproducts.Thepropertiesoftheseproductscanbemodifiedbytheadditionofvariousfillers,reinforcements,extenders,plasticizers,thixotropicagents,etc.Theepoxyresinsdescribedalsocanbeusedasstabilizersandcross-linkingagents;andtheycanbecombinedwithotherreactiveproducts.1.2Itisnotthefunctionofthisspecificationtoprovideengineeringdataortoguidethepurchaserintheselectionofamaterialforaspecificenduse.Ordinarilythepropertieslistedinandaresufficienttocharacterizeamaterialunderthisspecification,anditisrecommendedthatroutineinspectionbelimitedtotestingforsuchproperties.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Note1ISO3673-1:1980(E)issimilarbutnotequivalenttothisspecification.Productclassificationandcharacterizationarenotthesame.
