【摘要】:Thinflexiblecards(TFCs)areusedtoautomatethecontrolsforaccesstogoodsorservicessuchasmasstransit,highwaytollsystems,carparks,vouchersandstoredvalue.Fortheseapplications,datacanbewrittenand/orreadbymachinesusingvariousrecordingtechniques:magneticstripe,opticalcharacterrecognition(OCR),barcode,etc.ThispartofISO/IEC15457specifiesthemagneticstripeandencodingcharacteristicsofthinflexiblecardsattwopointsinthecard’slifecycle:-atthepointofloadingintothecard-issuingequipment;-atthepointofissuetothepublic.Guidanceconcerningthestorageandusageoffinishedcards(includingmagneticstripecards)undervariousenvironmentalconditionsisgiveninISO/IEC15457-1.
