【摘要】:Sincetheheelisanintegralsupportelementoftheshoe,theheel-attachingstrengthisasignificantfactorinensuringthewearer''ssafety,aswellasthelongevityandserviceabilityoftheshoe.Thistestshouldbeperformedoneachnewstyleshoeandwhenanychangesaremadeinthedesign,materialormethodofshankorheelareaoftheshoe,orboth,orintheattachmentoftheheelinanexistingshoe.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheforcerequiredtodetachtheheelfromfootwearthroughtheapplicationoflongitudinaltensileforceataconstantdisplacementrate.Thelongitudinaltestforcesimulatesthemostcommonheelfailuremode.Heelheightof20mm(13/16in.)orlargerisneededtoperformthistestmethodproperly.Mostwomen''smediumandhighheeledfootwearmeetsthisrequirement.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
