【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverstwogeneralclasses,WPandCR,ofwroughtferritic,ferritic/austenitic,andmartensiticstainlesssteelfittingsofseamlessandweldedconstructioncoveredbythelatestrevisionofSpecificationA960.FittingsdifferingfromthesestandardsmaybefurnishedinaccordancewithSupplementaryRequirementS8.ClassWPfittingsaresubdividedintofoursubclasses:ClassesWP-S,WP-W,WP-WX,andWP-WU.TheyaremanufacturedtotherequirementsofSpecificationA960,andtheyshallhavepressureratingscompatiblewith12.2.ClassWP-Sfittingsarethosemanufacturedfromseamlessproductbyaseamlessmethodofmanufacture(markedwithclasssymbolWP-S);ClassWP-Wfittingsarethosewhichcontainweldswherethefittingfabricationorconstructionweldshavebeenradiographed(markedwithclasssymbolWP-W);andClassWP-WXfittingsarethosewhichcontainweldswhereallweldshavebeenradiographed(markedwithclasssymbolWP-WX);andClassWP-WUfittingsarethosewhichcontainweldswhereallweldshavebeenultrasonicallytested(markedwithclasssymbolWP-WU).ClassCRfittingsarethosemanufacturedtotherequirementsofMSSSP-43,andtheyshallhavepressureratingscompatiblewith12.3.Thisspecificationdoesnotapplytocastfittings.Optionalsupplementaryrequirementsareprovided.Whendesired,oneormoreofthesemaybespecifiedintheorder.Thisspecificationisexpressedinbothinch-poundunitsandinSIunits.However,unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicable"M"specificationdesignation[SIunits],thematerialshallbefurnishedtoinch-poundunits.Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.
